Are there zombies in Fairbanks? After a methane explosion blasts a massive ice hole through the subarctic permafrost, a startling discovery is made of a large, ancient migrating tribe that was frozen solid deep beneath the tundra.
The mysterious people were trapped in ice near the arctic circle when the North American ice sheets abruptly melted and refroze 12,800 years ago.
The discovery of the flash-frozen human remains, embedded in chunks of ice and frozen muck, was hauled to the University of Fairbanks for further investigation by researchers studying the Arctic environment.
The tribe, all clad in unique clothing and jewelry and carrying unusual tools, drowned in a torrent of glacial water and froze so quickly their bodies were perfectly preserved.
It’s unknown where the people originated, but speculation that the remains are those of refugees from the mythical Hyperborean “Atlantis,” which perished in the deluge, is whispered.
Surprisingly, upon examining the intact remains, a strange monatomic gold called “exotic matter” is found in the corpses’ flesh and blood, giving its preserved skin a “glittering” appearance when exposed to sunlight.
In the Sumerian tablets, monatomic gold, also known as “manna,” is described as a mysterious substance that has the ability to significantly extend one’s life due to the fact that it has healing properties.
Manna is referred to biblically as the “bread of life.” The remains infused with this inexplicable gold are the first known discovery of monatomic gold exotic matter outside history books.
The mad scientists at UAF decide to secretly synthesize the monatomic gold-infused ancient blood into a life-extension serum, hoping to live forever and get rich in the process.
The scientists are thrilled as they observe their “life extension serum” shimmering and glowing unnaturally in the test tubes during a giant solar flare when the aurora borealis lights up and dances across the sky.
The scientists are shocked when they discover the thawing corpses laid out on chilly laboratory slabs also glowing unnaturally.
Further terror overtakes them when they hear preternaturally low groans resonating off the walls of the lab as the bodies on the cold slabs unnervingly glow brighter and start to twitch.
The electric universe performs its magick. With the energy of the sun’s charged particles, the monatomic gold in the ancient body comes alive. The northern lights transmit a strong electrical charge drawn down deep into the cold flesh sparking life.
The brightly lit corpses slowly wake, consumed with ravenous hunger after their long, frozen sleep. Eyes wide shut, their flesh bodies ominously begin to move in search of nourishment.
One of the corpses blinks and opens her eyes. The one named Eve. Rebirth is complete.
☠️The zombies are woke.

“This project evolved from an extensive film project I developed back in film school. I kept thinking about my vision of zombies in Fairbanks (my hometown) and my love of ancient mysteries and dark comedy and wanted to develop the idea in its entirety. I decided to start with movie collectible NFTs to generate excitement and funding for my film’s preproduction and to create branding. Up to this point, everything in this project has been made and developed by me, and it’s taken much longer than I expected. I’m currently a creative team of one. I’m excited to expand my NFT creative team after the Zombies in Fairbanks Series One mint so I can completely focus on producing my Zombies in Fairbanks movie and expand the Zombies in Fairbanks universe.”
